Regimen piechoty Baden-Durlach, pierwsze kroki w kierunku wojny siedmioletniej

Jakby mało było rozgrzebanych projektów, dałem się namówić na wejście w tematykę wojny siedmioletniej. Podjąłem się pracy nad armią cesarsko - królewską.
[ENG]As if there were not many started projects, I let myself be persuaded to enter the subject matter of the seven-year war. I undertook work on the imperial austrian army.
Założenia które przyjęliśmy przy montowaniu pułków pieszych to batalion na podstawce 6x3 cm po 8 figurek, do tego należy dodać grenadierów na podstawce 3x3 cm po 4 figurki, baterię regimentową 3f na podstawce 3x4 cm z dwoma kanonierami oraz pułkownika na podstawce 2x4cm.
[ENG] The assumptions that we adopted when assembling the pedestrian regiments is a battalion on a 6x3 cm stand, 8 figures, one should add grenadiers on a 3 x 3 cm base for 4 figurines, a 3f regiment battery on a 3 x 4 cm base with two cannons and a colonel on a 2x4cm base.

Dla piechoty austriackiej po przegranej z prusakami drugiej wojnie śląskiej nastał czas zmian. Po raz pierwszy wprowadzono jednolite w całej armii regulaminy, gdyż wcześniej były one indywidualne dla każdego regimentu. Za główną przyczynę porażki uważano słabe morale i wyszkolenie a także słabe umiejętności manewrowania jednostek.
[ENG] For the Austrian infantry after losing to the Prussians of the Second Silesian War, a time of change has come. For the first time uniform regulations were introduced in the whole army, because they were previously individual for each regiment. The main reason for the failure was poor morale and training as well as poor maneuvering skills of individuals.

 By przeciwdziałać temu podjęto pewne kroki wzorując się na armii pruskiej Fryderyka II. Obok klasycznego werbunku jako metodę uzupełnień przyjęto wcielanie rekrutów z oddziałów milicji. Oddziały nieregularne wcielano do regularnej armii, zminimalizowano ilość oddziałów ochotniczych.
Zaczęto prowadzić wspólne manewry i ćwiczenia jednostek na dużą skalę.
[ENG] To counteract this, some steps were taken following the example of the Prussian army of Frederick II. In addition to the classic recruitment, recruitment of recruits from militia units was accepted as a method of supplementation. Non-regular units were incorporated into a regular army, and the number of volunteer units was minimized.
Joint maneuvers and exercises of regimenta on a large scale began.

Pułki piechoty składały się z 16 kompanii fizylierów i 2 grenadierów. W czasie wojny formowano z nich 3 bataliony: 2 w sile 6 kompanii wyruszały w pole, jeden, 4 kompanijny pozostawał jako zakład. Grenadierów formowano doraźnie w zbiorcze bataliony po 4 do 8 kompanii.
[ENG]  The infantry regiments consisted of 16 fuse companies and 2 grenadiers. During the war, 3 battalions were formed from them: 2 in the strength of 6 companies set out in the field, one, 4 company remained as a plant. Grenadiers were temporarily formed into collective battalions of 4 to 8 companies.

Grenadiers

W piechocie austriackiej występowały również oddziały niderlandzkie, najemne i piechota pogranicza, których struktura różniła się nieco od piechoty niemieckiej i węgierskiej ale o nich opowiem innym razem.
[ENG] In the Austrian infantry there were also Dutch, mercenary and borderland infantry units, whose structure was slightly different from the German and Hungarian infantry, but I will tell you about them at other times.

Regimental artillery

Jako pierwszą bitwę postanowiliśmy rozegrać starcie pod Lobositz, zatem jako pierwsze formowane będą jednostki, które brały udział w tej batalii. Regiment Baden-Durlach wybrałem ze wzgledu na udział w większości interesujących nas starć.
[ENG]As the first battle, we decided to play the clash at Lobositz, so the first units that participated in this battle will be formed first. I chose the Baden-Durlach regiment because of the participation in most of the battles we were interested in.

Fusiliers

Do jego wykonania wybrałem figurki pruskiej piechoty HAT, ze względu na jednorzędowe kamizelki stosowane przez oddział. Grenadierzy pochodzą z najnowszego zestawu piechoty austriackiej HAT, natomiast armata i kanonierzy to figurki Revella.
[ENG] For its implementation I chose the figures of the Prussian HAT infantry, due to the single-row vests used by the regiment. The Grenadiers come from the latest Austrian infantry HAT, while the cannon and canoners are Revell figures.
